We have a deal for you !!!. History: Spent 27 years from 1990 until 2017 on the San Joaquin River in Buckley Cove, California about 80 miles inland from San Francisco. Current owner bought her there and brought her back to Tennessee with the help of a few friends, down west coast thru Panama Canal and back up stopping off for a little work at Dog River Marina in Mobile, Alabama. The following updates were completed there. 1 Installed 2 new 17 kw Cummins Onan generators 2 Installed new custom built flybridge hardtop 3 Installed new bow thruster (needs repair) 4 Painted entire hull from rubrail down, including bottom paint, running gear, scoop strainers and new aft lower spray rails. 5 Installed new stainless steel rubrail 6 Repaired and painted bow pulpit 7 Resealed pilothouse windows 8 Installed new water heater 9 Installed new seals in trim tab actuators In the fall of 2017 Salty traveled inland by way of the Tombigbee, Tenn and Cumberland Rivers to Clarksville Marina near Nashville, where she remains today. The following significant updates have been made there: 1 Installed 6 new Mermaid marine air conditioners (several units need service) 2 Installed all new electronics including Furuno radar, chartplotters, screens, Simrad autopilot and Icom marine radio at lower station. Also all new mechanical gauges at both stations. Also new MicroCommander throttle & shift controls at both stations. 3 New canvas enclosures for aft deck and new vinyl upholstered cushions for aft deck and bridge 4 Installed new freshwater pressure and marine air pumps. New bilge pumps on board, not yet installed 5 Installed all new granite countertops throughout boat 6 Installed new Racor fuel/water separating filters 7 Installed all new vinyl flooring (95% complete) 8 Installed new removable vinyl headliner panels for salon, galley and pilothouse 9 New but not yet installed are stainless cooktop & oven, washer dryer, toilets and Plazdeck flooring for cockpit. 10 All new batteries (2024) 11 Last but not least a new all aluminum plate rigid bulwark is being is being installed, replacing original handrails (50% complete) As you can see, a lot of money and a lot of effort has been spent on this classic yacht. Her owner, who has put in 100s of hours of his own time, has decided he is too old and is not capable of finishing the job. He would love to sell to someone who is younger and can finish the work. He is asking a mere fraction of his investment. Serious offers considered.
